Old mortar wears away and lets rain into the wall. We rake out the failed joints and repoint with a matched mortar so the repair blends in.

Limestone pointing
Lime mortar for older stone
Limestone and older solid walls need to breathe. Cement mortar traps moisture and damages the stone, so we use lime mortars suited to the building.

- Listed or period properties
Chimney removal
Full or partial removal
Unused chimney stacks are a common source of leaks. We take them down safely, make good the roof and tile over so it is watertight.
